Meet Laura Cave
Content creator and founder of Vivre, Laura Cave has cultivated a loyal following through her considered approach to home and lifestyle. Whether you follow her on Instagram or TikTok, or have discovered her line of vegan razor blades, you’ll know her deep appreciation for creating spaces that feel both beautiful and intentional.
We sat down in her South Coast studio apartment, a now recognisable backdrop to her thoughtfully curated content. With a natural eye for interiors and an instinct for spaces that feel calm, comfortable and personal, Laura shares the story behind her home and how her journey into content creation first began.

We love following your life journey on socials, how did it all begin?
I come from a marketing background, so creating content and storytelling has always been part of my job. When I moved into my first apartment solo, I started sharing little moments of decorating and styling my space, mostly just for fun. People really loved it, and over time it naturally kept growing into the home and lifestyle content I create today!

What is your approach when it comes to decorating and styling your home?
Comfort has always been so important to me. I love a beautifully curated space, but it still needs to feel liveable and homely. Your home should be somewhere you can truly relax and enjoy, not just something that looks good. For me, curating a home is about creating a space that reflects who you are, what you love, and what makes you feel good.
Your apartment in South Coast has become synonymous with your brand and the content you create, why do you think this is?
I think a lot of it comes down to how unique the layout of the space is. Studio apartments like this aren’t something you see very often in Australia, so people are naturally curious about how I style and live in it. It’s a smaller space, so every piece I bring in feels very intentional! A comment I get a lot is that my space looks like an “adult Drake and Josh room” and I love that.

The Krystal Bed looks perfect in your bedroom. What shaped your decision when choosing this iconic Zenn style?
I’ve always been drawn to pieces that feel timeless and calm. The bed had to act as a core piece within my open studio space and blend effortlessly with the rest of the room. The Krystal Bed felt like the perfect statement while still blending in perfectly into my space, however I choose to style it. Funnily enough, it was actually the first big investment I made for my space, and in many ways it sparked this whole social media journey for me.

What's one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
I used to be a Muay Thai fighter. It’s definitely something people don’t expect when they meet me today or see my content online.
What are you coveting right now (fashion, travel, home, anything…)?
I’m really loving bamboo bedding right now. I get to try so many different kinds of bed sheets and these are just hitting the mark for me in every way.
