In Bed With Zenn – Mother's Day Edition with Raizy and Libby
Zenn: “Han, we LOVE the girls' beautiful room - how did the concept for this come about?”
Han: “It all started with this one fabric that I was obsessed with and knew I wanted to use by The Textile Company which was an S.Harris fabric called Unguja in Coral Reef. I knew I wanted to do something fun, a bit out of the ordinary and elevated, so I used this as the point of inspo to build out the concept. We kept the original pink bed-frames - with the amazing gas lift for storage underneath and swapped out new bedheads in this amazing highly textured fabric.
I then consulted with Bea Lambos, my friend and stylist, to help refine selections and discuss my ideas further. For the wall paper, the girls and I decided on the super sweet cherries. Pickawall was amazing for sourcing this type of sweet and fun options. We tied it all back with our Favourite 100% linen curtain, from Warwick’s Linea collection in Linesta Quartz.
I love what curtains do for a space - it softens and grounds any room. The side table is a new range we’re about to launch in a powder coat finish. It's a playful take on the existing Christopher Blank X Zenn Design Siesta side table, which is our most popular design. We customised the colour in a fun Dusty pink which the girls adore.
For bedlinen my go-to is always Abode. The stunning sheeting needed to be muted but with a twist so we selected contrasting custom satin stitch detailing on the sage sheeting to tie in the bedhead. The final finishing touch were the bolsters in my fave ever luxe forest green velvet. We adore the bedroom!”
