Meet Marty Fox

WHITEFOX Real Estate CEO, judge of The Block 2024, Serial Renovator, Brand Ambassador and all round family man.

We hung out with Marty recently at his new project in Elsternwick to chat WHITEFOX's future plans, hot tips for renovating and what’s currently grabbing his attention right now.

Looking at your career to success - it's impressive and the hustle is admirable. If you had your time again, what would you change?
Nothing. I’m a big believer that everything happens for a reason and my mindset on this is what allows me to appreciate the past and have excitement for the future.

What was your first ever paid job?
I was working and hustling before I could speak! My parents actually had me doing commercials as a kid, so working with people and the hustle was ingrained in me early days.

You work with your family and they are heavily involved in WHITEFOX Real Estate - how has it been working with them?
The best. I’ve built a company off working with friends/family and close connections. I treat everyone the same so it’s easy for me.

What's your top design tips for renovating a home? Any absolute don’ts?
Keep things timeless and don’t be gimmicky. I love natural tones/textures and materials as they are luxurious and highly marketable.

What do you love about your Krystal Bed?
I love that it’s so cozy to look at and easy to design around. A bed is meant to be inviting and that’s what it is.

How do you practise self care?
I do this often with saunas, ice baths and personal training 2-3 times a week and I eat great food. I also treat myself to massages! Spending time with my family fills my cup.

We know you love your cars - what's the dream car?
1996 blue 993 Porsche 911

Do you have any night-time rituals or have a process to help you achieve a sense of Zen?
I honestly don’t. I get my zen by knowing I just won the day!

What's next for you? Anything you can share with us?
More growth in WHITEFOX! We are expanding our presence in Brisbane and Gold Coast and in turn I'm spending more time there.
