Introducing Rachel Watts. Media personality, mum to Harry and Harvey and our November feature for our In Bed with Zenn editorial.

We were thrilled to work with Rachel to bring her boys' rooms to life by custom designing beds. Take a peek into Harvey and Harry’s beautiful bedrooms.

What projects are on the go at the moment?
After 4 years of designing and renovating our new home I am taking a short break to enjoy the last 4 months before my second (and last) child Harry starts primary school next year.

What is your favourite part of your role/s?
Being a wife, mother and working on my social media I feel I wear many hats. My favourite part of all 3 of these roles is bringing a smile to my family and followers' faces. Life is short and I feel sometimes we need to live a little more in the moment.

What would be your dream job?
A television host of a travel program where I get to experience all parts of the world, its people and culture!

What inspires you and what are you really passionate about?
I feel my inspiration comes from various things. Autumn is one of my favourite seasons and when styling my home this played a huge part in the colour palette throughout. One of my main priorities was having a colourful and vibrant home full of love and items that represent our personalities. Travelling the world over the last 10 years and experiencing so many cultures and diversities also gives me inspiration that is visible throughout our home.

What drew you to select the custom wave beds for your boys?
I loved that I was able to choose my own colours based on the themes I already had in my mind. The wave and the duo coloured trim is stylish yet subtle to compliment the amazing colourful and playful art work.

Why is choosing Australian made important to you?
It is really important to me as an Australian that we support our local manufacture, farmers, producers and businesses. Quality to me is very important and I feel Australian made has proven to be at a high quality and is also safe and more reliable.

The boys' bedrooms look very zen, do they have any night-time rituals or routines to help them achieve a sense of calm?  
Books, books and more books. I find it important to give the boys this down time and they both love a cuddle. Every night my husband and I hear… “mum/dad can you scratch my back?” And then “1 more minute?” I know this is not going to last forever so I’m grateful each night they still love this bedtime ritual.
