National Sales Manager (Full-Time)

OVERVIEW
The National Sales Manager will be key in driving the company's growth and maintaining strong relationships with wholesale partners across Australia.
This newly created position is ideal for a highly motivated, results-oriented professional with a passion for sales and a proven ability to manage wholesale accounts at a national level.
1. Negotiating with Suppliers
- Identify, build and maintain strong relationships with Retailers including pricing and contract agreements.
- Negotiate supply contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address any related issues.
- Ensure that product assortments and stock levels are aligned with forecasts and needs of the customer.
- Coordinate with the Zenn Operations team to ensure a timely and accurate delivery of products to Retail clients.
- Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Monitor and manage order fulfillment, ensuring that wholesale accounts receive the correct products on time.
- Address any distribution or supply chain issues that could impact client.
- Create and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the wholesale market, aimed at driving revenue growth and expanding Zenn’s Retail customer base.
- Identify new business opportunities and/or markets, targeting potential Retail Stores and increasing market penetration.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotions, campaigns, and product positioning strategies and opportunities that support wholesale growth.
- Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to continuously refine and optimise sales tactics.
- Work to exceed targets through ongoing business development and client management.
KEY CRITERIA
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in wholesale management or a similar sales role, with a proven track record of success.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a national territory and travel extensively for business development and account management.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and account management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building meaningful, long-term client relationships.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive business strategies.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), Google Workspace, Canva.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and accounts.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel frequently across Australia, with a flexible approach to work hours and locations.
- A valid Australian driver’s license and the ability to travel by car and air.
- A polished, professional and personable demeanor for representing the company.
LOCATION
This role requires frequent travel across Australia, with flexibility for the base location depending on the candidate's preference.
