Fully Upholstered Bed Sizing

Our upholstered bed frames are made to accommodate mattress measurements that are standard in the industry as listed below. The finished width of the bed finishes at the below bedhead measurements.

Width of Fully Upholstered Bed Frames

• Single – 920mm width x 1880mm length
• King Single – 1070mm width x 2030mm length
• Double – 1380mm width x 1880mm length
• Queen – 1530mm width x 2030mm length
• King – 1830mm width x 2030mm length
• Super King – 2040mm width x 2030mm length

Floating Bed Frame Specs and Measurements:

• Height of bedhead: 1300mm (Can be customised to other sizes)
• Height of upholstered frame: 160mm (Can be customised to other sizes)
• Mattress recessed into frame: 30mm
• Height of leg: 140mm (Can be customised to other sizes)
• Distance between timber slats: 90mm with a central beam on king size for extra support.

Base to Floor Bed Frame Specs and Measurements:

• Height of bedhead: 1300mm (Can be customised to other sizes)
• Height of upholstered frame/side rails: 260-300mm (Can be customised to other sizes)
• Mattress recessed into frame: 30mm
• Distance between timber slats: 90mm with a central beam on King size for extra support.

Bedhead Size Chart:

Zenn Design Bedheads are all made slightly larger to allow for the additional width of a blanket. Please get in touch if you require a customised height or width with this bed design or you would like custom GPO cut-outs/ Light fixture cut-outs or any other customised changes. We’d love to help!

Upon adding your order to the cart, a shipping estimate will be displayed. All Zenn Design products are available to ship Australia Wide. If special pricing is needed for your order, Zenn Design will source a shipping quote for you through our reliable preferred freight providers. We will then contact you via email or phone to confirm the details further.

Our value for quality, is carried from frame construction through to finish and is expressed through the materials we use. Each piece carries skilled Australian craftsmanship, made by hand. Made strong and made to last from the highest quality materials to ensure years of enjoyment. Every bed/ bedhead comes with a 5-year structural warranty, made to order with a 4-6 week lead time once your order is placed. However in busier times these can extend to 6-8 weeks. Please get in touch to check lead times prior to ordering.
